Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Raja Ram Mohan Roy (1772-1833) was a prominent Indian social reformer, scholar, and founder of the Brahmo Sabha movement. He advocated for social and educational reforms in India, promoting women's rights, abolition of Sati, and modernization of Indian society. Roy was a key figure in the Bengal Renaissance and played a significant role in the abolition of the practice of Sati. His efforts towards social and religious reforms have left a lasting impact on Indian society.
