Kravis Center for Cardiovascular Health; and the Richard Gorlin, MD/Heart Research Foundation Professor, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY. He is the only cardiologist to have received the highest awards for research from the three leading cardiovascular organizations: the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the European Society of Cardiology.

Athena Poppas, MD, FACC, FASE, is Chief, Cardiology Division; Director, Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute; Director, Echocardiography Rhode Island, The Miriam and Newport Hospitals. She specializes in valvular heart disease, heart disease in women, and echocardiography and heart disease in pregnancy.  She is a past president of the American College of Cardiology.
