Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Merle Potter received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Michigan Technological University. He obtained an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Michigan. He is professor emeritus of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University. 

David C. Wiggert, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of Civil Engineering at Michigan State University.
