X is exchanged for i movable. (177) 1. Of these, ordinal numerals in the emph. state sing, have more frequently xn1'--or KrP--for KtiVp: e. g. xnittlj? (xrjB? Cant. 1: 1) snSFi. (178) 2. In the abs. st. plur. instead of "JS there is found also, e. g. 1313 from the sing. 1313 Gen. 13: 15. Sing. Plur. st. abs.-const.-emph. 3 s. m. with suff. / 2 p. m. I § 45. Adjectives. (182) The most frequent forms of adjectives are bu_j?, btap and btsp; less usual are btap and bisip. They are inflected like nouns. For comparison of adjectives see Syntax. (183) Note. Adjectives of the first, third and fifth declensions have their feminines generally declined according to the first; those of the second and sixth, according to the second; and those of the seventh, according to the fourth declension. § 46. Numerals Are of two kinds cardinal and ordinal: A. 1. The cardinals from 1 to 10 are of both genders, and (184) the two first form the Feminine in a regular manner, the eight remaining present the same anomaly as in Hebrew, the masculines being indicated by the fern, forms and the feminines by masc. forms.
