John Walters is a staff writer at "Sports Illustrated on Campus", which is distributed to Division I college campuses, and has worked at its parent magazine, "Sports llustrated", since 1989. A 1988 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Walters co-authored "Basketball for Dummies" with former Fighting Irish basketball coach Digger Phelps and is the author of "The Same River Twice: A Season" with Geno Auriemma and the Connecticut Huskies. He lives in New York City.
