"Of course you must not spoil your tree; that would do you harm, and do us no good. We are very glad anyway to have met with somebody at last who has really got the rose. We were almost beginning to think that the Dove had been making fun of us." "You must stay here with me till you are quite rested," said the Little Spinster, "and then I hope you will have good luck when you set out on your journey again.
