What does Jesus elsewhere say concerning his own knowledge of the day and the hour? (Mark 13. 32.) 4. Would you judge after reading the chapter over a number of times that it was best to take it up verse by verse, and decide what particular events the various sayings point to, or to read it as a whole and get the general impression which Jesus wished to produce upon the minds of his disciples? 5. What saying of the chapter seems, at first sight, to preclude the reference of any of it to a later date than the first century? In what sense was the destruction of the city that had crucified him a coming of Christ? 6.
