Translator and scholar S. H. Butcher served as editor for the Dover Thift Edition of the "Poetics," as well as for the "Orationes, Volume 1" by Demosthenes. Butcher is also the author of "Aristotle's Theory of Poetry and Fine Art,"
WILLIAM A. SALMON (Woodbury, CT) is a management consultant and writer. Formerly an executive at Girard Bank (Mellon Bank East) and W. K. Gray & Associates, he is the author of several books, audio and video programs, and articles on management and training.
