Examining shows like Bewitched, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and Modern Family, it will help the reader understand the contingent and contested nature of sexual identities and their politics; the evolution of television’s role as a socio-cultural force; and the interconnected relationship between the television industry, representation, and identity/experience.
