M. Asaduddin is a former Professor of English at Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, India, and Visiting Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and INALCO, Paris. He was a Charles Wallace Trust Fellow at the University of East Anglia, UK, and Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at Rutgers University, USA. He is a much-awarded multilingual translator. His research interests and publications span the fields of literary history, language politics, comparative literature, and translation studies. Among his literary works are Filming Fiction: Tagore, Satyajit Ray and Premchand and Premchand: The Complete Stories (four volumes).

M. Rizwan Khan is a Professor of English and is presently the Dean, Faculty of Arts, at Aligarh Muslim University, with over 36 years of teaching and research experience. He led the UGC-SAP DRS-II project on Translation Studies, and has held international academic engagements as a Visiting Fellow at IULM University, Milan, and through the Indo-Hungarian Academic Exchange with the University of Pannonia, Veszprem, Hungary. He has edited and authored several Cambridge University Press volumes as well as numerous research papers in journals such as Translation Today and the Journal of Educational Technology Systems.
