Methodus ad Facilem Historiarum Cognitionem est opus magnum a Joanne Bodino, celebri philosopho et politico Gallico, anno MDXCI editum. Liber est praecipue destinatus ad juvenes, qui historiam discere cupiunt, et continet praecepta et regulas, quae ad cognitionem historicae pertinent. Bodinus, qui erat notus pro sua eruditione et sapientia, in hoc libro tradit methodum, qua historia faciliter et cum fructu disci possit. In primo capitulo, auctor tractat de historia ipsa, et de definitione et divisione ejus. Deinde, in sequentibus capitulis, explicat quomodo historiae scriptores sunt eligendi et quomodo historiam legere et interpretari debemus. Bodinus quoque tradit, quomodo historiae res memorabiles in memoria retinere possimus, et quomodo historiae eventus comparari et colligere possimus.
