About the Author:

Dr. Vedat Coskun established NFC Lab - Istanbul (NFCLab.com), the leading and pioneer research lab on Near Field Communication (NFC) technology worldwide, to take initiative on sustainable evolution of the technology to create a win-win ecosystem for all the actors in the game such as users and financial and technical organizations. His major research areas are NFC, Mobility, Mobile Application Development, Cashless Payment, Smartcards, Java Technology, and Mobile Security.

By being a Professor in Information Technology Department of ISIK University; he is teaching Mobility, NFC, Java, Android and Security. He published many conference and journal papers in NFC as well in other research areas such as Security.

He works as consultant for both national and international companies to promote NFC in a sustainable ecosystem. In this manner, he is leading various projects in NFCLab - Istanbul and acting as consultant and manager in many projects of various companies. He also plays role in conferences and other activities related to his research areas.

Kerem Ok is currently a researcher in NFC Lab - Istanbul and participated in several projects in NFC technology

Busra Ozdenizci is currently a researcher in NFC Lab - Istanbul and participated in several projects in NFC technology
