Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Frank J. Lechner is Professor of Sociology at Emory University, USA.  He has published numerous papers on religion and sociological theory. He is the co-author with John Boli of World Culture: Origins and Consequences (Wiley Blackwell, 2005) and author of Globalization: The Making of World Society (2009) and The Netherlands: National Identity and Globalization (2008).

John Boli is Professor of Sociology at Emory University, USA.  He has published extensively on world culture, global organizations, state authority, and education.  He is the co-author with Frank J. Lechner of World Culture: Origins and Consequences (Wiley Blackwell, 2005) and co-author of Constructing World Culture: International Nongovernmental Organizations Since 1875 (1999), and Institutional Structure: Constituting State, Society and the Individual (1987).
