Joseph Shrand, MD, is an instructor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, a past assistant child psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital, and the medical director of CASTLE (Clean and Sober Teens Living Empowered), a new intervention unit for at-risk teens that is part of the respected High Point Treatment Center in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Leigh Devine, MS, is an award-winning medical writer and television producer who has been humanizing and explaining complicated medical stories for more than fifteen years.
