"I think D'Anieri's hit the nail right on the proverbial head; i.e., just enough theory, but not overburdening the student with it at every turn, while giving them sufficient historical/current background on important current issues of international importance."-- Thomas Rotnem, Southern Polytechnic State University
"The text is a cogent, logical and organized book that deftly puts together the important debates and theories regarding international politics in an accessible manner. It engages the reader to think about issues from unique perspectives."-- Mark Sachleben, Shippensburg University
