He is also Founding Editor in Chief for the Journal of Psychiatric Intensive Care, an Executive Committee member for the National Association of Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (NAPICU) and Honorary Associate Professor at Norwich Medical School.

Stephen Dye is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust in Ipswich and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of East Anglia in Norwich.
