Writing Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) is one of the most important activities in welding. WPS is a document that conveys permissible range of welding variables to welder, welding operator, welding inspector, welding supervisor.To write WPS we need PQR (Procedure Qualification Record). In this booklet we assumed that you have the PQR available. In examples PQR have been presented with set of assumptions. This booklet is not aimed to explain all welding terms and fundamentals; for this purpose, you need to have welding hand book and applicable standards handy.
