This multimodule provides six classic short adventures for the Basic Fantasy Role-Playing Game! Castle By The Sea is the first release in the Basic Fantasy Contest Series, and presents a two-level castle laid out on a single set of compact maps (just twenty-two rooms total) as well as six different adventures written by six different authors for use with those maps. The adventures include the contest winner, Caer Mortling, the abandoned castle of a mad king; Castle of the Unknown, a ruined castle with an evil reputation; Conclave at the Conch Throne, a mission from a notorious sorcerer; Fortress of the Barbarian Queen, a raid on a castle occupied by some unusual barbarians; Castle Under The Sea, a rescue mission in a sunken castle; and Call of Doom, an investigation of some very strange happenings.
