The main purpose of this research is to investigate the use of waste stone dust and plastic bottle fiber as strips in the sub-grade stability of clayey soil and to assess the impacts of stone dust and plastic fiber on the geotechnical characteristics of soil. Soil stabilization increases the engineering characteristics of fragile soil by adding stabilizer such as cement, fly ash, rice husk ash, lime, allcofine, etc. in this research, stone dust and plastic fiber are used as a stabilizer. Stone dust is a range of strong waste material readily accessible from stone crusher and stone dust is one that is created in big quantities around 15 percent–25 percent of the complete manufacturing in each crusher unit is left out as waste products. Plastic bottle are also solid waste material which are day by day increasing and not in environmental friendly hence they have to be recycled and to be used for soil stabilization. In this study of stabilization of clayey soil, The various percentage of stone dust is taken as 2%,4%,6%,7%,8%,10%12%,16%,20% which were passing from the IS sieve 150 micron. After performing work on these percentages one by one the optimum value obtained is 7% and further test like Standard Proctor and CBR is to be conducted on this optimum value by using plastic bottle strips. The plastic was taken 0.4%, 0.8%, 1.2%, 1.6%, and 2.0%. The optimum percentage of 7% stone dust and different percentage of plastic strips is mixed with soil sample as to explore the effects of addition on the OMC, MDD, swell index and CBR properties of soil.
