Martin has cystic fibrosis and wrote the bestselling Charlie Fry Series after retiring from work due to a deterioration in his condition.

Emily has always wanted to write a book with her dad - and came up with the characters and plot herself. All Martin did was transform the wonderful ideas into a story for primary school children to be able to enjoy.

Why The Christmas Poop Plan?

The book was originally called The Christmas Miracle - except that had already been taken.

We had the same problem with The Christmas Angel.

Yet the book is centred around the elves' dastardly plan to ruin Christmas through poop - so The Christmas Poop Plan seemed the logical choice!
