This book introduces you to databases and Microsoft’s computer software product ACCESS which enables small organisations, departments and individual computer users to create their own databases, query them and format the results into reports. Alternatively, ACCESS can be used to build apps to enable end-users - those neither familiar with nor interested in ACCESS - to do these things themselves. The difference between this book and all the others on the subject is that this one is presented in narrative form. You can read it like a novel, perhaps on the train to work or in your garden. The style is of plain words with just a sprinkling of diagrams and code snippets.
