Ripon College’s two Anthony van Dyck paintings inspire this exhibition. Centered on the two life-size figure portraits by van Dyck installed in built-in displays, the tribute paintings created by eleven Midwest Paint Group members surround them in the installation space. To continue to celebrate, think about, and respond to these great works, this exhibition features a wide range of responses to them. The work ranges from the realistic to the abstract, and from the literal to the conceptual.
