The BEAL activity and resource program is especially designed to encourage speaking, listening, reading and writing for pupils who have English as an Additional Language (EAL). Each activity has been carefully created using clear words and pictures to aid excellent learning. All tasks relate to the everyday British school life and support the EAL pupils a smooth transition into their classroom environment. Participating in these motivating tasks will encourage learners to gain further contextual and linguistic support. It is recommended that each activity is delivered for a minimum of 30 minutes daily and may be further extended into curriculum subjects. The initial program is sectioned into a three part intervention and requires adult support. The unlimited printable resources in this book can be used; within lesson plans, as part of topics, social group activities, school clubs and with learners who have special educational needs (SEN).
