She is a children's book author and illustrator with over 14 years of experience as an educator in public education for young children from all walks of life. Her passion for art began early but took a backseat for many years. Her love relationship with art was rekindled several years ago, using art as her healing escape on her mental health journey; she began to create beautiful oil, acrylic, textured canvas paintings, and digital art. Her book, Lucy's Kindness Jar, was published in 2024, and Eva's Only Wish was published.Angela creates art by drawing from her childhood and diverse cultural experiences. She writes and illustrates stories celebrating kindness, resilience, and inclusion. My Heart is Filled When... is a heartwarming celebration of simple joys, gratitude, and the everyday moments that nurture emotional well-being. She wants to share with children and families through gentle storytelling and vibrant illustrations throughout her books to encourage children to embrace simple yet meaningful experiences-laughing with friends, feeling the wind while riding a bike, digging their hands into the soil while planting, or the excitement of scoring a goal.
