An upside-down sea. Icy cold at the surface and tropically warm at the bottom. How weird is that? Well, things are about to get a whole lot weirder. How about super seaslugs, or marine owls; giant squid and megalomaniac sharks? It’s a weird, weird world down at the bottom of the North Sea, and among all this weirdness live Charlie Codfish and his friends, Kira the mermaid and Oldroyd, a giant eel. It is Charlie’s birthday and his parents give him a pet puppy seal, which immediately runs away. Can Charlie, Kira and Oldroyd find the puppy before it is too late? Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Stephen Fothergill is a Yorkshire born writer and jack-of-all-trades. After a long and successful career in engineering, Stephen decided to give it all up and devote himself to his first love, writing. After graduating with a Creative Writing BA and an MA, he briefly lectured in English at a London college before leaving the big city for the relative peace and quiet of Lincolnshire, where he writes and pursues his other work as an audio-book narrator and voice artist.
