Robert J. Schinke is a twöterm president of the ISSP, the former president of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), a twöterm Canada Research Chair, and the Editor¿in¿Chief of the International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology and the Journal of Sport Psychology in Action. He is a distinguished professor at Beijing University, East China Normal University, and Nanjing Sport Institute in China, supporting science within the Chinese Whole Nation System, and formerly an honorary professor at Tsinghua University, Taipei.
Alessandro Quartiroli is a professor at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse (USA) and a visiting professor at the University of Portsmouth (UK). He serves as an associate editor for both the International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology and the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology, is a former executive board member and a fellow of the AASP, and currently sits on the managing council of the ISSP. He is an ISSP-registered practitioner and supervisor, practicing psychologist (counseling and sport and exercise psychology), registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (UK), and an AASP-certified mental performance consultant (USA). His research focuses on culturally informed practice, practitioners' professional development, identity, self¿care, and well¿being, as well as competent and ethical service provision across performance domains.
Tatiana V. Ryba is an associate professor at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. She is a twöterm Vice President of the ISSP, a fellow of both ISSP and the AASP, and the recipient of the 2025 ISSP Honor Award for her outstanding contributions to the field. She serves as an associate editor for the International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology and is a globally recognised scholar dedicated to advancing culturally attuned, socially just, and ethically inclusive practices in sport. She has led the development of ISSP's three position stands on cultural competence, transnational mobility and acculturation, and cultural praxis.
