Timo Ehmke is a professor of educational research at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. His work focuses on teacher education, language and education, culturally responsive teaching, and large-scale assessments. He is senior editor of Cogent Education and is a (co-)author of more than 160 research contributions.

John Chi-Kin Lee is the president and chair professor at The Education University of Hong Kong, specializing in curriculum and instruction, teacher development, and educational research.
