His research interests include conflict studies, political violence, political theory, and development and conflict. Hippu Salk Kristle Nathan is an engineer-turned development researcher. He is Associate Professor at the Institute of Rural Management Anand, Gujarat, India. He was the Subir Chowdhury Post-doctoral Fellow at the London School of Economics in 2017. He has won the Elsevier-National Academy of Sciences, India Young Scientist Award 2017 in Social Sciences. His areas of interest include economic measurement, sustainability, energy, human development, sociopolitical reform, and disarmament.
