Fiona Nunan is Professor of Environment and Development at the International Development Department, University of Birmingham. She has worked on and researched fisheries co-management since the early 2000s, with a focus on East and Southern Africa. Research into other natural resource contexts, including mangrove forests, have informed her edited publications, such as Governing Renewable Natural Resources (2019) and Researching Institutions in Natural Resource Governance (2024).
