Inhaltsangabe

If Hallmark Mysteries joined the Travel Channel describes the Challenge Series.
Dave and Katie Parker are a retirement aged couple recovering from difficult circumstances. “I feel like our old life was a boat that went over a waterfall with us inside. Now we’re bobbing up in the pool below, glad to be alive, but without a boat,” says Katie. The Challenge Series of novels follow the Parkers as they solve mysteries, thwart criminals, and find new adventures in colorful locales.

Challenge Down Under
Dave and Katie Parker’s only son, Jeremy, is getting married in Australia. Despite initial reservations, the Parkers discover that Denyse is perfect for Jeremy and that she’s the daughter they’ve always wanted. But she brings with her a colorful and largely dysfunctional Aussie family. They bring fun to the story but also the mystery of Denyse’s missing brother, Trevor.

With a talent for irresponsible chicanery inherited from his family, Trevor has left a trail of trouble in his wake. Again, Dave and Katie are fish out of water as they follow Trevor’s journey all over Australia and New Zealand. In their search for Trevor, they find a lot more than they expected.

"I read all of the Dave and Katie Adventure books, and enjoyed them all. Each book takes place in different locations ...Minnesota, Australia/New Zealand, and Mobile, AL...and all the locations were so interesting to read about. The authors really captured the culture and feel of all these areas and transported you along on the Adventures . Dave and Katie and their friends and family become important to you as you go through the series...hopefully there are more books coming, because I miss them already! The stories and characters are well thought out and interesting, and each of the books taught me things I didn't know. The books reminded me a bit of a Mary Higgins Clark mystery with a little Dr Phil relationship/communication advice thrown in. Here's to more Dave and Katie Adventures!" Amazon Customer

“Challenge Down Under is a gripping story of the rawness of life when desperation hits and of the power of love in the most difficult of circumstances. I couldn’t put this book down. The Coonses captured the heart of both city and country life Down Under.” Jill Rangeley of Auckland, NZ
