When it was time to fold his charts Skip founded Adventure Island Entertainment, building up-market miniature golf courses in Thailand and China. After relocating to Vancouver Island, British Columbia he built the multi award winning accommodation Snug Harbor Inn, on the island's west coast. Home is now in the mountains of British Columbia along the Columbia River, far from the oceans he so loved, but a place of peace and quiet where he and former crew-member now beloved wife Denise, coast through later life.
