QUICK
WOLFEMAN MC: BOOK ONE
The day I gave up my life as Jake Reeves, was the day I became Quick — the easy going, funny, shit talking, Road Captain of the Wolfeman MC, New York Chapter.
I was more than happy to leave my complicated life behind, because living in the pack, not letting anyone get close but my brothers and keeping my identity a secret for over five years meant I was safe.
That was until I met her — my little Firecracker. She’s a feisty, smart-mouthed, pole dancing force to be reckoned with and I couldn’t get her wild hair and fierce little attitude out of my system. She had to be mine. But having her meant coming out of hiding and risking my true identity being revealed.
I never thought I would love anyone after I left my old life behind, but after one explosive weekend, she struck me with her flame only to leave me smoldering. Loving her puts her and baby girl in danger and puts my club at risk of going to war, but I can’t stay away.
*Author's note: Quick is the first book in my Wolfeman MC series. Firecracker is the prequel of how they met. You don't have to read this before, but I recommend you do so to get the whole love story.
Both of my series (Spin It & Wolfeman MC) are interconnected with each story. Firecracker is a crossover of my Spin It Series and MC series. You can read either series on its own, but for the timeline of events and how all the main characters interconnect in each book, I would recommend the reading order go as follows:
Alexandria - Book 1 - Spin It Series
Ginger - Book 2 - Spin It Series
Firecracker - is a crossover between the series and a prequel to Quick.
Izzy - Book 3 - Spin It Series
Quick - Book 1 - Wolfeman MC Series
Dallas - Book 2 - Wolfeman MC Series
Violet - Book 4 - Spin It Series
Macon - Book 3 - Wolfeman MC Series

Paperback. Zustand: Good. NAMED ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY SLATE For fans of Anne Rice, The Historian, and The Night Circus, an astonishing debut, a novel of epic scope and suspense that conjures up all the magic and menace of Victorian London 1892: James Norbury, a shy would-be poet newly down from Oxford, finds lodging with a charming young aristocrat. Through this new friendship, he is introduced to the drawing-rooms of high society and finds love in an unexpected quarter. Then, suddenly, he vanishes without a trace. Alarmed, his sister, Charlotte, sets out from their crumbling country estate determined to find him. In the sinister, labyrinthine London that greets her, she uncovers a hidden, supernatural city populated by unforgettable characters: a female rope walker turned vigilante, a street urchin with a deadly secret, and the chilling Doctor Knife. But the answer to her brother's disappearance ultimately lies within the doors of the exclusive, secretive Aegolius Club, whose predatory members include the most ambitious, and most bloodthirsty, men in England. In her first novel, Lauren Owen has created a fantastical world that is both beguiling and terrifying. The Quick will establish her as one of fiction's most dazzling talents.
