NY Writers Coalition Press & Apogee Journal are proud to present Reverie: Poetry Prose & Art from GUMBO. This collection dips into history, rests in dreams, and puts forth a world that is colored by every emotion of the rainbow. Written and compiled by Great United Minds Believing in Ourselves (GUMBO), NYWC’s after school workshop for teens at Benjamin Banneker Academy in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. GUMBO is made possible by the Cultural After School Adventures Initiative (CASA), supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and New York City Council Member Laurie Cumbo.
