Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Delbert L. Hall, PhD is a professor of Theatre and Dance at East Tennessee State University. He is an ETCP certified Theatre Rigger, ETCP recognized Trainer and a member of IATSE Local 699 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He has rigged and choreographed flying/aerial effects for hundreds of stage and aerial/circus productions. He is the author of Rigging Math Made Simple and the co-author of The Rigging Math Made Simple Workbook and The Arena Riggers’ Handbook with Brian Sickels; and he is the creator of the rigging apps RigCalc and PocketRigger. Delbert regularly teaches workshops on rigging math and aerial rigging for universities, IA locals, rigging companies and professional organizations. He also conducts rigging inspections for theatres and theme parks and is a safety consultant for the American Circus Educator. Q. Brian Sickels is an Entertainment Rigger and Technical Director in Theatre, Concert and Event Staging industries. He has taught technical direction and rigging safety courses at colleges and universities throughout the east coast. Currently, he serves as Technical Director for Event Central, production rigger for PSAV, IATSE, Local 8 in Philadelphia, and IATSE Local 77 in Atlantic City. His concert/ rigging venues include The Revel and Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, Wells Fargo Center, The Linc, The Mann Music Center, The Susquehanna Center and Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. He is an ETCP Certified Rigger in both Arena and Theatre and an ETCP Recognized Trainer. He is co-author of the Rigging Math Made Simple Workbook and The Arena Riggers’ Handbook with ETCP trainer Delbert Hall.
