All proceeds from the sale of this and other FLY Young Author books go directly to the author’s college fund and scholarships for FLY students to learn another language. Foreign Language for Youth, a nonprofit 501(c)3 school established in 1995, educates elementary and middle school students in Spanish, French, Mandarin, Japanese and Arabic. Advanced students have the opportunity to write a story in their new Target Language and become a published FLY Young Author.
