In 2016 and 2017, The LeBron James Family Foundation College of Education Center for Literacy at The University of Akron and Summit Education Initiative collected written submissions Summit County students completed in reaction to reading books and articles about civility. Then, we decided to publish the submissions in this book, "Civility Through the Eyes of Summit County's Children." We hope you enjoy the students' writings and drawings within this book, and that you feel good about the future of civility in our community after reading them.
