I am passionate about helping people realize God’s involvement in our everyday lives. Since I was 15, I’ve been increasing my ability to recognize God encounters, keeping a journal of what He is showing me. Every encounter produces a testimony to His goodness—and there are untold numbers of God-encounters with people every day. Teaching has been a common thread throughout my life. My college background was in Christian Education. As a law school graduate, I served as a Civil Appellate Attorney and taught as an Adjunct Law Professor. I have had the privilege of speaking to lawyers, pastors and other groups on various aspects of the legal profession as well as write people’s stories using the law, facts and evidence to appeal various court cases. This experience enhanced my ability to help law students learn how to craft a strong, factual and compelling story. Additionally, by teaching Business classes at a local college, I not only helped my students with their careers, I also became better prepared for the career change God had planned for me. As a young adult, I served on staff at Youth For Christ. As an adult I served as Director of Women’s Ministries and Adult Ministries. I had the joy of working with amazing people, training leaders, and teaching Bible Studies, Sunday School classes and small groups. I’m grateful to my Pastor who trusted me with such amazing opportunities. At this stage in life, I’ve fully embraced the new career path, teaching others through writing books and speaking. My first book, The Call to Follow Jesus, Studies in the Gospel of Mark won second place in the Bible Study category at the 2013 Xulon Press contest for new authors. My newest book, Stepping Out: Journey of the Soul is my personal story of moving from bondage to freedom. I’ve also created a companion Study Guide.
