Leaving Christianity to Follow Jesus: Your Guide to the Sacred Revolution - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

The Bible, what many use as their guiding light today, is an ancient manuscript from a culture long gone. Without studious insight, the rich truths of the New Testament are hidden, and some of its meaning has become distorted over time. If we are to have any hope of understanding Jesus’ teachings, we must delve into the cultural, economic, and political differences of then and now. You are invited to see the world of Jesus from a unique perspective that will reveal new insight into his actions. Author Jim Jones presents Jesus’ life and teachings as a call to a Sacred Revolution. He argues that we can no longer overlook the violence and hate that affect so many across the world. But how can we incite change? Jones answers that question in a series of chapters meant to inform, explain, and bring into question our fundamental beliefs.
