Paul's brief letter to the Colossians proclaims that Jesus is above all other so-called gods and lords. This was a radical assertion in Paul's day, as it is in ours. Even more radical is his declaration that Jesus, through His Spirit, is in every person who personally receives Him. Paul follows these claims by explaining what authentic Christian spirituality looks like and how to progress in it.

Gary DeLashmutt led Xenos Christian Fellowship for over forty-five years. During that time, he has become one of the most respected Bible teachers in the region. He previously authored Loving God's Way and Spiritual Relationship that Last. He lives with his wife of 40 years and has two adult daughters who, with their families, enjoy fellowship with him in the church.
