There are 4 Primary Support Structures for the primary caregiver and loved one to use in the Alzheimer's Journey. This book provides how to build the Family as one of the four. The family becomes united in getting educated on the disease, how to make decision, manage dementia related behavior and face critical decisions. The other 3 Primary Support Structures: The Church is a support structure, the community is a support structure and the primary caregivers employer is a support structure. All of these structures are required in the Alzheimer's journey. In order to best extract what is needed from them, we have provided 7 Dynamics in an Alzheimer's Family model. Using this model the family will approach each primary support structure with confidence, empowerment in an organized and proactive manner. This will ensure a greater degree of success.
