Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
As a mental health counselor with a specialty in working with young children I found satisfaction in helping children discover joy, optimism, and personal strength when grappling with life’s problems. I want to bring the insights and experiences I gained in my professional life to children as they navigate the universal experiences in life. In one of my favorite picture books, Miss Rumphius, the Lupine Lady states that everyone needs to, “Do something to make the world more beautiful.” My stories, including Taffy Meets Inky, are my vehicle for doing just that. My hope is for each child to feel warm and safe and snuggly as they close the book and settle in for a sweet night’s sleep.
