The Art of Geometry, Vol 1. This really is a different kind of coloring book - which is why we've included finished versions of all 24 designs. Your challenge is to compare the colored and uncolored versions and see if you can figure out how the final result was achieved. This may require studying both images for awhile but you will be amazed what can be done when you combine creativity with simple geometric shapes. Either reproduce the finished version or get inspired and create your own original design by adding more lines or curves. It will challenge you and stimulate your brain. Of course if you simply want to color in all the spaces with beautiful colors, that's OK too. We've provided duplicate uncolored versions on the back of every design to encourage experimentation. Some are simplified in order to offer you more freedom to be creative. Printed on 8 ½ by 11” pages. 24 colored drawings (2 per page) provided for inspiration and ideas. 24 uncolored drawings (1 per page). Back of each uncolored drawing is a duplicate for practice.

A math teacher for many years, now retired, Sheldra is still excited about bringing geometry to the world of coloring books. Using creativity and a sharp eye, she adds lines, curves, and color to the drawings created by Larry, a retired nuts and bolts manufacturer. He also finds inspiration in geometric shapes, creating his basic illustrations using a compass, ruler, stencils, and interesting shapes found around the house. No computers were used in the creation of these drawings. Visit shellyandlarry.com for more examples and free illustrations for you to download and color.
