The 8 Limbs of Yoga Journal - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

“What if a tree had just one limb? It would look quite sad…Yoga is an 8-limb system with each limb giving strength and stability to the others, just as the limbs of a tree do.”

In The 8 Limbs of Yoga Journal, author and Lifespan Yoga CEO Beth Daugherty draws on her extensive experience teaching powerful yoga techniques, daily meditations and stress relief methods to offer you structure for your personal transformation and inspiration for your creative expression, as you experience your own individual yoga story.

In this easy-to-use, inclusive guided yoga journal, you will find:

• Over 150 journal pages for making lists, doodling, sketching yoga poses and yoga postures and jotting ideas and inspirations down for improving your yoga experience
• Provides a scrapbook, art journal, or project storage place for yoga students of all experience levels
• Allows for personal reflection, self-exploration and emotional intelligence enhancement
• Guided pages have been lovingly created based on many years of teaching yoga students of all ages, from young children to senior citizens
• Designed to use the guided journal as an individual yoga student, or as a group or family – share the fun with your yoga friends!

The journal questions are simply a jumping off point. There is no order. For example, many people come to yoga through the third limb, postures, so this may be where they begin this journal. Or, if it is your style, work through the questions one by one in order. This creative exploration of your yoga practice will give you the freedom and motivation to go exactly where you need to go!
