Inhaltsangabe

Students need to know what it takes to be happy, successful and fulfilled in the out-of-school world, but a lot of what's "taught" in traditional classrooms is boring, irrelevant and useless. Schools have a one-time chance to teach critically important lessons that can turn their students on to education - and life. But when teachers focus on obscure material of questionable value, that opportunity is lost. Why waste time teaching mediocre, archaic lessons? The Missing Pieces are the lessons that should be included in a contemporary curriculum. Students need to learn: How to Build Social Capital The Answer is Work How To Compliment There's No Such Thing as "Happily Ever After" How to Overcome Jealousy How to Find Kefi What to Think About at the End of the Day and 45 more... Report cards must be renovated as we develop this new syllabus for success. Excelling in the Missing Pieces is at least as important as excelling in math, science or history. Master these vital lessons by studying, applying and teaching this book.
