The fictional hero of the story is a young man who was commissioned as an officer in the Navy, undergoes combat training and indoctrination into Naval Intelligence, undergoes Spanish-language training in Mexico and investigates an act of sabotage on a destroyer under construction. Author Bio: Now living in a retirement home in Guelph, Ontario, the author was born and raised in the small mining town of Duparquet, Quebec. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy at the age of 17 and served a pensionable career in the RCN. He wrote this fictional adventure story, based on a vivid imagination, some knowledge and some experiences obtained during his career in the Navy.
