Why did you write this book?
Simply, I love children's fantasy books. I particularly appreciate the balance you get when you gather together young teens.
So this is a coming of age adventure?
Yes, exactly. As well as facing the paranormal, magic, inner and out demons, I wanted the characters to face their own angels and demons. However, it is more than just about their emotional struggles, I try to deal with issues of faith and loss but in an action and adventure setting.
Then this is part of a series?
It certainly is. There are three adventures published now and more on their way.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Philip Janvier was born in Liverpool in 1957 and studied Theology at Trinity College, Bristol. He is an award winning documentary videographer, has written both Christian and secular material including a novella, audio plays and magazine articles. He is addicted to reading, loves children’s fantasy novels and Doctor Who. He is married and lives in Liverpool where he is the Team Rector of St Stephen’s, Gateacre.
