Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Liz Jennings grew up in a South London vicarage in the 1970s, the youngest of three children. Their home was a happy, lively one, full of people and interest for a curious child. A lot of her early memories are of making sandwiches for the homeless men who would camp out in their front porch. At sixteen, she moved with her parents to the Midlands, returning to London two years later to study for an English and Theology degree. She has spent her working life writing whenever possible, and trying other random jobs in between, from guiding people around a Roman museum to invigilating, in a never ending habit of curiosity. She has written for a variety of Christian and secular publications and organisations, from Tearfund to The Big Issue. Her short stories have appeared in magazines, and have won several small prizes. In recent years, she has become involved in setting up and running writing groups with and for people with a diagnosis of dementia. She met her husband, Mark, while temping in one of those random jobs in Clapham. They have two children, Maisie and Reuben, and live in Kent.
