Yuk Hodgson is a proper clubman rally driver, a Yorkshireman, a rally parts dealer, playboy, story teller and national rally treasure! Well- known for his exploits on and off the stages, many of his rallying stories are legendary! The book takes you through his long career in motor sport in his own words with yarns which will keep you smiling and laughing throughout! Many of his friends, fellow competitors, co-drivers and service crew have helped fill in the gaps forgotten over the years and some tell their own stories about Yuk in their own words. His amazing and sometimes daft exploits in the UK, Europe and his much loved Ireland will keep you entertained to the end, interspersed with stories and contributions told by his many friends who have joined him on the adventures and survived to tell the tale! Many of the stories include Yuk's very best friend, the legendary rally driver and pig farmer Piggy Thompson (RIP). Piggy's son, James Thompson, describes them in the foreword to the book as "two naughty school boys together." Some of these stories are of an adult nature and at times the language can be colourful! There are some wonderful photographs in black and white and colour which will also give you a flavour of this spectacular and colourful sport.
