Biografía del autor
Henri Maximilian Beerbohm est un ecrivain et caricaturiste anglais ne le 24 Aout 1872 a Londres et mort le 19 Mai 1956 a Rapallo. Il etudie a l universite d Oxford avant de publier ses premiers articles et ses premieres caricatures dans la revue The Yellow book. Il devient ensuite, en remplacement de Georges Bernard Shaw, le critique dramatique de la revue The Saturday Review. En 1911 parait son unique roman, "Zuleika Dobson", qui reste a ce jour son uvre la plus connue. Dandy, mondain brillant et spirituel que le Tout Londres nommait - Max -, Beerbohm a ete l ami d Oscar Wilde qu il a defendu pendant son proces.
