The novel Dreamer is fiction based on realism. As war between Britain and Argentina loomed over the barren Falkland Islands, a group of men, former Green Berets who left the service in disgrace and now live their lives in the 'darkness', are brought together to save a revolutionist who is being held hostage in Los Estados prison in Argentina. For one man in the group, the mission is personal, for it is David's wife, Sunny, who was the hostage they are trying to save.

Philip Davidson is a former Vietnam veteran. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Combat Infantry Badge and Vietnamese Jump Wings. He was also a Kit Carson Scout. He was the author of the first SWAT book that has been used to train police across the country and served on President Reagan's Veteran's Affairs Council. His novel Dreamer is military romantic supspense about various wars and touches on the controversial subject of PTSD. Davidson is currently an attorney residing in Nashville, TN.
